About
Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street opened on December 13, 2024, becoming the fifth Hotel Indigo property in Japan and the brand’s first entry into Kyushu.
Located in the Minamiyamate area, renowned for its exotic charm and home to World Heritage component assets such as the Former Glover House, an Important Cultural Property, and the Oura Cathedral, designated as a National Treasure, the hotel embraces the concept “Discover the intricate labyrinth of Nagasaki's vibrant history and colorful culture of Japan, China and the West.”
In the motif of the narrow alleys of Nagasaki, the modern interior decor, including the lobby lounge inspired by the social hub where merchants used to socialize and the chapel restaurant highlighted with dazzling stained-glass windows creates exotic atmosphere, making the path leading to the guest rooms feel as though you are strolling through the alleys in Nagasaki, *which is known as “saruku” in the local dialect.
The hotel breathed new life into traditional brick-built historic buildings to offer our guests the experiences of “Where Time Leaps. Where Time Dances.”
